In the first quarter of 2025, the top photo and video applications on the iOS platform in Russia showcased intriguing trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the performance of these apps in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

FaceApp: Perfect Face Editor saw its weekly revenue rise steadily, peaking at around $165K by the end of March. Downloads fluctuated, initially dropping from 28K to around 20K, before recovering to 20K by the quarter's end. Active users varied significantly, starting at 338K and experiencing ups and downs, ending at approximately 286K.

YouTube maintained a stable weekly revenue, reaching a high of $93K in late February. Downloads showed a downward trend, decreasing from 79K to about 44K by the end of March. Active users also saw a decline from 20M to 18.4M throughout the quarter.

Google Photos: Backup & Edit recorded a peak in weekly revenue of $55K in late February. Downloads began at 25K, decreasing steadily to around 9K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 1.4M.
